Avoid This Apartment at All Costs: A Nightmare Stay and Disgraceful Customer Service Negative: I booked this one-bedroom apartment for 5 nights starting July 11th 2025 and it was the worst travel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived to the final day, this property was a disaster, riddled with issues that made our stay unbearable. To make matters worse, Booking.com’s customer service was utterly deplorable, offering no meaningful support despite multiple complaints. Do not book this apartment—it’s a terrible choice that will ruin your trip. Upon arrival, we were locked out because the key locker code provided was incorrect, leaving us stranded with no immediate assistance. Once inside, the apartment was a letdown: it was dirty, with what little kitchenette equipment existed being filthy and unusable. There was no Wi-Fi, despite it being advertised, which was a major inconvenience. Most shockingly, a sliding door was off its track, posing a serious safety hazard that could have caused significant injury—a completely unacceptable risk in any accommodation. The host was virtually nonexistent. Despite repeated attempts to contact them, we received no timely responses or solutions. Only on the second-to-last day of our stay did they provide some basic items, far too late to salvage the experience. This lack of accountability and care was infuriating and left us feeling abandoned. This apartment is not just substandard—it’s unsafe, unclean, and misrepresented. The host’s negligence and Booking.com’s failure to act make this a booking you should avoid at all costs. Save yourself the stress, money, and disappointment, and look elsewhere for a safe and enjoyable stay in London.
